She was created for a Challenge on a club Laurence belongs to called 'Art Dolls Only'.
The challenge called for a doll with a theme from the Grimms Fairy Tales.
I just am so excited about receiving them. They left Hungry 2 days ago and should arrive in 10.
RED is my favourite doll I created up to now.
It is because she is the very first I gave features closer to a "real doll", with legs and arms, and specific facial expression...and a mini armature too.
She is entirely made of wool felt, with needle felting as usual, one of a kind, and my own design.
She is not a child toy even if she comes from tale!
She is about one foot (30cm) tall, silk hair, knitted cap, and leather boots.
She comes with a straw basket and cloth in it (the piknic is gone!).
Her clothes are removeable as for the boots, the dress, hat, and underskirt.
There are details like a ripped sleeve and hole on her tight on the knee area, which is intentional, after all, she plays with a wolf!
Red would need a stand (not provided)to feel comfy on her feet!
And of course Mister WOLF is accompanying her too.
He is armatured also and measures about 6 inches,(15cm), from front foot to ear, and about 12 inches (30cm) in total length, but all depends on its pose.
RED and Mister WOLF love having fun and they like to play the good old tale about them.
But at the end Mister Wolf is just a big big dog, the kind some girls like to walk at night, alone in the streets, and would not get bothered.
Mister Wolf is Red real best friend.
