Emma by Papillon Bleu UK

This is my newest little girl by a very gifted soft doll artist Patricia.
She has just the most beautiful imagination which matches the sweet faced girls she lovingly creates.
Her newest girl named Emma didn't last long on ETSY!
On first sight I just had to make her mine.
I love the long chats and friendship we have formed over discussing the Orphan's story, my special masquerade doll and the happy news I am to be one of the lucky people to be adopting when their story is done telling.
I can't wait to receive them and all the way from the UK.
Do go and have a look at the Story so far on papillonbleuuk.blogspot.com

Very Cute!

Juliet's Balcony. Verona, Italy

This is Juliet's Balcony in Verona, Italy.
You walk though a stone arch tunnel entrance into a cool Oasis of cobble stone court yard and fountain.
The coolness and silence is what hits you first. Only the splash of the fountain greets you with it's calming words. It's almost a shrine like silence.
People who have travelled here to visit this famous sight seem to take on a respectful quiet.
We all stand around staring up at this magical old stone carved balcony.
You can almost see juliet standing there waiting for her Romeo to climb up and sweetly steal a soft kiss.
To the left of the Balcony is a statue of Juliet. Her left breast and arm are a clean shiny golden colour compared to the rest of her ancient look. This is due to thousands of tourists hands touching her in these places for good luck.
Someone said they have replaced the statue a few time over the years as our pouring, touching and prying hands wear metal body parts away!
This was such a highlight of my European tour.
People write words of love and hope to loved ones on the arch wall where you enter.
I wrote secret words to the one who stole my heart many years ago.

I wonder if he will see it if by chance he too visits this magical place........

Mushroom or Toadstool?

Have a look at this big brown Mushroom / Toadstool I photographed while at Stradbroke Island.
The tops were almost as large as my hand!
Not sure if one should pick and eat so Pops and I decided to just admire it each morning.

More of Princess Poppy

These are the most recent photos I've taken of my Poppy.
She has such a sweet face and loves hopping up onto the couch in my spot when I go off to do something.
I'm sure she thinks if she does this I won't lose or forget her! lol
Sometimes I think about what an AWFUL puppy she was and wonder where this precious little, well behaved, so soft and fluffy best friend came from???
I often tell her she was my gift from God. That he knows what and who we need in our lives at just the right time. Of all the little dogs in the whole world he picked her for me.

She keeps her mummy grounded.

Pillow Sharing.....

Someone likes to share my pillow while I sleep.
It's so hot here at the moment Poppy and I have moved downstairs to the cool of the lounge room.
We have a double foam mattress on the floor and it's so comfy!
It's quiet and always cool. I think we'll just stay here forever and have two craft rooms!!

Kookaburra

Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree....
Merry Merry King of the bush is he...
Laugh Kookaburra Laugh Kookaburra...
Gay your life must be.

Hahah How beautiful is he sitting on the fence waiting to have a feed of mince or left over fish bate.
He would come late each afternoon and hang out on the fence.
Poppy just wanted to get out and chase him!

Not this little dog.

My Bears To Sell

These are my hand sewn German Mohair Teddy Bears.
They have leather paws and vintage glass eyes. Noses have been sewn and each will have there own special neckwear.
The small sparse light cream fur one has his own little knitted scarf which I knitted.
Big braun Bear is so manly and he has a special collar made of bells to remind him of the good old day when he preformed in a circus..... but no more.
The two honey coloured bears who are sitting together were made within a short time of one another and seem to have become inseparable since then. Little Lewis I've named him loves sitting between his big brothers Thomas's legs and feel safe and warm there.
Floppy Burnt Orange Bear has had all his fur clipped off and has a floppy feel to him. Where his belly button should be he has a special wooden button.

How am I supposed to separate them when the time comes to sell them?
This I'm finding is the hard part of creating something form nothing. Spending so much time lovingly sewing them into little fur people with personalities makes it beyond hard to make the decision to sell them.

Just look at their little faces..... How can I???? Sigh
